Premarital Sex

     What is premarital sex? Premarital sex is a sexual activity by the people who are unmarried. Is it ok to have premarital sex? This is a question that very common between teens and young adults. Some people may think this is a normal behaviour, but some will think this is a improper sexual behaviour. In my opinion, i agree the statement of premarital sex is a improper sexual behaviour, and these are few reason why i agree about it.

     First of all, sex may not be safe emotionally and physically. According to the research, 50% of people who have HIV currently are age between 15 to 24 years old. After premarital sexual activity, people will feel guilty, embarrassment, distrust, lack of respect, tension, and so much more bad feeling and emotion. This may be due to premarital sex does not give people safety feeling, people can be irresponsible to the other one after premarital sex. Some people may not consider about this matter, but sex is a emotional activity that will affect one's life in a way we does not concern about it. We should not do things that make us feel guilty and embarrassed after it.

     Besides that, Premarital sexual activity is against to the law. In the definition for premarital sex, it can be a sexual activity between under-age people which is people under 18 years old or 21 years old in some other countries. According to article from Wikipedia, the age of consent for sexual activity in Malaysia is 16 years old or above for both sexes. Whoever under 16 years old had sexual activity, they will get charged or commit ''rape''. This is from the law Section 375 - Sexual Assault.      Next, Premarital sex is against to religion. According to the 1 Corinthian 7:2, 'But since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband', this shows that God only approved people to have sexual activity after they were married.      Last but not least, Premarital sex is a sexual activity that we should not be doing it. This hurt people emotionally and physically. Premarital sex may affect one's life for months, years or even the rest of their life badly. We should not be doing something that are not safe and make us feel bad about it. Sexual activity is an activity that should only be done by husband and wife.
